FREE Summer Arts Workshop for Teens: You are invited to join a one of a kind summer arts workshop for teenagers. Taught by three professional artists and teachers, Shatter2Matter is a FREE program that actually gives youth participants an opportunity to deliberately break objects and then put them together again in new, positive and exciting ways. As a group we will design and publish a billboard that will be on display in downtown Chico! A video artist will also be available for students who are interested in film. Dates: Monday, June 9th to Friday, June 13th; Community Collaborative for Youth, 925 Cedar Street, Chico.  See Asst. Prinicpal Judi Roth for details and information.

Lassen Volcanic National Park has ten openings for its Summer Interpretive Intern program.  Students must be entering their junior or senior year or have just graduated.  The program involves 1 week of training in the field, and two weeks of interning.  Participants will receive official National Park Service Volunteer status that can lead to future jobs with the parks.  Please see Mrs. Stephens in S-4 for more information.

Class of 2009:  Buy your Senior shirt for $5.00.  Drop off order forms in the Panther Post before school gets out on Thursday.  Pick up your shirts with your schedule in the fall.
