Chico High School will be undergoing their accreditation visit this spring from the Western Association of School Credentialing (WASC).  Receiving an accreditation from WASC assures a school community that:
  • the school's purposes are appropriate and being accomplished;
  • a viable educational program is offered to students;
  • the school is a trustworthy institution for student learning, and;
  • the school's program and its transcripts are presented with integrity and are valid.
This accreditation is conducted every six years and is completed by educators from outside of the district and county and is designed for the school to show off the programs and services we offer our students.

Parental involvement is a necessary component of the visit.  Interested parents should both view the video below to learn more about the accreditation process and complete the Google Form interest sheet.  Interested parents will be contacted later this semester to help provide feedback to the visiting committee.
