Annual PSAT in October

PSAT/NMSQT / Preliminary SAT

This test is offered once a year (only) during the month of October

National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test

DETAILS: The PSAT/NMSQT is useful for providing practice for the SAT, allowing Juniors to enter the National Merit Scholarship Corporation competitions for recognition and scholarships, assessing your skills in critical reading, mathematical reasoning and writing, getting specific suggestions on how to improve your skills, comparing your academic skills with those of other college-bound students, asking colleges to send you information, and getting information about college majors and careers.  When fees are paid, students will receive the Student Bulletin (Official Guide to the test) and a Check List of where to go and what to bring to the test.
