Next Nursing Leaders Scholarship

Awarded by organization.

The Chico Community Scholarship application will be available come January.  At that time a link will be provided here so you can print the application and once completed, submit it to the counseling office.  The mission of the Chico Community Scholarship Association is to provide scholarship assistance by facilitating the establishment and awarding of scholarships to deserving graduating seniors of the Chico Unified School District area who intend to pursue further studies at an accredited institution.

Financial Aid for College

FAFSA - The window to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid opens on January 1, through March 2. After March 2nd students can still apply for Federal Aide through FAFSA but can no longer apply for California State financial aid.  Prior to applying students and parents must go on-line and sign up for Personal Identification Number.
         1.   Sigh up for a PIN
         2.   File the FAFSA

CHS will host a Cash For College Workshop where students and parents can file their FAFSA with assistance from representatives from CSU, Chico Financial Aid Department.  The event will be held in the Chico High Library on Wednesday, Feb 4th at 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  If you attend this event with your parent and you qualify for Federal Aid through FAFSA, your name will go into a drawing for a $1,000 Scholarship!  Don't miss your chance to win!

Extended Opportunity Program and Services

EOPS is a state-funded program designed to recruit and retain students who are economically and educationally disadvantaged. EOPS assists students in the development of their potential ability through academic support and financial assistance. The services of EOPS are designed to give students individualized attention and support to improve their chances for success.
