Local Control Accountability Plan

The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a three-year plan that maps out the district’s goals, actions, and budget expenditures to improve student outcomes. The Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), developed by the California Department of Education, gives school districts flexibility in deciding how to use state funds. School districts welcome working with parents, staff members, students, and the community to develop an LCAP that shows how they will use these funds to serve students.

Safe Schools Plans

All California public schools must develop a comprehensive school safety plan, per California Education Code sections 32280-32289.

Plans are brought before the Chico High School Site Council and then approved by the Chico Unified School District Board of Education.

Single Plan for Student Achievement

The School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) is a strategic plan that maximizes the resources available to the school
while minimizing duplication of effort with the ultimate goal of increasing student achievement. SPSA development should
be aligned with and inform the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) process.
