The Chico High School Visual Arts Program offers a wide variety of courses and opportunities for all skill levels.  Studio courses range from Intro to Art, Ceramics, Art Studio 1, 2 and 3, Photography, Sculpture, and Glass Design. Additionally, Chico High School has one of Northern California's most advanced Computer Arts labs, offering CTE courses in Digital Arts 1, 2 and 3.  
 
The Art Department has worked to create a high-quality, rigorous program featuring a variety of courses for students to choose from that aim to maximize student learning and overall success.  Several students have gone on to various creative fields of study that are directly or indirectly related to the types of technical and life skills obtained within our art program courses.  Other students walk away with a better appreciation of art and the value that it adds to all of our lives.
