Meeting Agenda
Chico HIgh School-School Site Council The School Site Council (SSC) is a shared decision-making group made up of school staff, parents/guardians, and community members. The SSC plays a key role in supporting student success by helping guide schoolwide planning and the use of instructional resources.
The council is responsible for the development, review, and approval of the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), the site safety plan, and the school site budget, ensuring that resources are aligned with student needs and school goals.
Successful implementation includes:Ensuring that all children receive an high-quality education and closing the achievement gap between children meeting the challenging high academic standards and those not meeting such standards
Monitoring students’ progress in meeting the challenging state standards
Developing and implementing a well-rounded program of instruction to meet the academic needs of all students
Identifying students who may be at risk for academic failure
Providing additional educational assistance to individual students that need help
