Academic Decathlon (Advisor: Seth Perrin) Meetings Every Wednesday, Lunch A201
Academic Decathlon is a ten-event contest where high school students of all academic abilities and achievement work as a team to compete in the areas of language and literature, science, mathematics, social science, economics, art, music, essay, interview, and speech. Each team aspires to compete at the state or national level. Students who participate build 21st century skills like critical thinking, character, communication and get some college prep experience!

This club is to help athletes of Chico High school perform at their opimum levels, focusing on sleep, nutrition, stress and the effects of drugs and alcohol.

To provide venues and equipment for students to practice or play badminto during lunch.

This club's purpose is to critically perserve Latin American culture by showcasing folklorico at Chico High and the surrounding communities and to increase awareness of Latin American ancestry as well as to serve as a catalyst for others to take pride in their own bakgrounds.

We are a club that meets once a week to run D&D campaigns. We welcome all levels of background from beginners to experienced adventurers. We also offer mini painting if students just want a calming activity after school

Ecology Club is a group of students who have fun taking action to improve our community. We educate others about the importance of a clean environment and participate in projects that have a positive impact on the environment.

Chico FFA is a youth organization focused on developing leadership, personal growth, and career success in agriculture education. Members participate in hands- on learning in agriculture, and various different programs and activities.

The HOSA Medical club will have as its purpose to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science Education instructional program.

Key Club is the oldest and largest student-led service organization for high school students functioning as a youth program affiliated with Kiwanis International. Key Club has more than 230,000 members in over 5,000 clubs around the world.
Chico High Key Club was started in 1947 and is a student-led group focused on service projects and leadership in the local community. Through active club participation students grow in self-confidence, build leadership skills, and gain experience as they improve their club, school and volunteer within the community.
 
KLEAN (Kids Leading Everyone Against Nicotine (Advisors : Abe Simmons & Rebekah Holley) Meetings Monthly 2nd & 4th Tue, Lunch, B9 
Students discuss strategies about how to reduce nicotine use amongst high schoolers.  
 
Mock Trial Club (Advisor: Casey Van Attenhoven and Travis Chew) Meetings Monday during Lunch in K112, Wednesday After School, K112
Mock trial is a simulation of a real court case. As a group, we’ll study the case in depth, choose roles and sides, and then compete against other schools in a realistic trial proceeding using the information from the case packet.

The Musical Theater club is for any student who wants to dive into the world of theatre, helping with fundraising and outreach events and organizing our backstage areas.

The purpose of this club is to encourage high school students to seek opportunities and learn in the field of automation and robotics in an inclusive manner.
 
Panther Rocketry (Advisor: Gavin Cockrell) Meetings Every Thurs during Lunch, IT1
Panther Rocketry is a hands-on club where students design, build, and launch model rockets, learning the fundamentals of aerospace engineering and teamwork along the way. Members get to combine creativity with problem-solving while seeing their projects take flight.
 
Rotary Interact  (Advisor:  Keith Rollins/Efren Rodriguez) Meetings 2nd and 4th Thur, Lunch C1
Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for high school students. Members carry out at least two service projects yearly; one that serves the school or the community and another that furthers international understanding. Young people develop initiative,leadership skills, and lasting friendships. The Chico High Interact Club meets twice a month, elects officers and determines projects for the school year. To remain eligible for membership, Interact members must attend 60% or more of the regular meetings.

Science Bowl Club is to prepare students for science bowl and then to compete.

The Skills USA club is to assist local SkillsUSA members in their growth and development.

This club gives opportunities for students to devlop social skills with special education students.
 
VOCES Latinas  (Advisors: Jamie Fisher-Vargas) Meetings every other Tuesday, Lunch, A128 
VOCES Latinas is dedicated to creating a voice for the Latino community by means of promoting awareness for pride for Hispanic & Latino language, culture, and literature through theater, poetry, and cultural events. Our mission is to enrich ourselves, our familes, and the community, through Verso, Obra, Cultura, Educacian, y Servico. Through these goals, VOCES Latinas will focus on fostering a welcoming environment where students can not only share their cultural values with others, but strive to provide members of the club and the public with events and resources. VOCES Latinas encourages students - regardless of background - to join the club. Interest in Hispanic & Latino culture, literature, language, and/or Spanish theater is the only requirement.
